Being an American to mean having freedom. It also means having the right to vote for a president every four years. To other people it means being a citizen of the United States of America. It pretty much means I have the rights. I'm free and a citizen of America and I could stay here because I'm a citizen. I am not racist to anyone at all. I am Mexican –American. I don't care what anyone else says about my race because I'm proud to be Mexican –American and I'm proud. It doesn't bother me.
